Florida Model Legislature Senate President
Senate President: Kay MacDonald
![]() Bio:
My name is Kay MacDonald and I currently go to Hillsborough Community College as a Sophomore studying Foreign Service and International Politics. Formerly a Senator for the Student Government Association, I am now President of Student Government at Dale Mabry Campus for the 2017-2018 term. Living around the DC area during my childhood I had grown accustomed to visiting the U.S. Congressional Building--where our federal legislation occurs--and it fueled my passion for politics. I plan on transferring to a 4-year institution in DC to continue my education after my Associate's Degree. My dream career is with the Department of State to spread diplomacy and represent our country abroad because foreign service is where my heart truly lies. I am looking forward to being part of the Florida Model Legislature this year! |
