Legislator Resources

The Rules of Procedure

The Rules are Vital to the coherent and orderly movement of legislation through both chambers. The Florida Model Legislature prides itself with the rules it has adopted right from the House and Senate Rules of Procedures.  Our rules are very straight forward and we want to clarify them if there is an issue, please make sure that you read them and any attachments in full.

A full understanding of how Florida's Bill System and Florida Model Legislatures Bill System is vital, make sure you understand both and that your willing to write, sponsor, and fight for or against legislation.
