Florida Model United Nations, www.fmun.org

At MUN, students represent a country in the United Nations. As a representative of that country, the student will research topics (provided by the conference) from the vantage point of the state being represented in a specific committee. During the committee sessions at the conference; debate between the states is held on the topics, the countries then collaborate and write resolutions attempting to solve the issue at hand.

Florida Model United Nations provides a positive learning environment for beginners and for experts at Model UN. FMUN is going into its sixth year running and warmly welcomes you to its conference.

Like MUN, at MUNA, students represent a county in the United Nations. National Model U.S. Congress, www.nationalmodelcongress.org

At National Model Congress, students represent a member of the United States Senate (the upper chamber of the U.S. Congress) or the United States House of Representatives (the lower chamber of the U.S. Congress). Students write, debate, and vote on legislation while representing the people of their congressional districts.

Students will attend committee sessions, legislative sessions, and face the veto pin.
