Role of the Lobbyist Director

At Florida Model legislature, the Lobbyist Director has many roles both before and during conference. Pre conference duties are primarily related to ensuring that the lobby corps is active in developing their groups, and that research is being done on current and legislation that needs to be drafted. During the conference the Lobbyist Director will help to ensure that the Chief Lobbyist and all other lobbyist are fulfilling their positions to the best of their abilities, while making sure that the rules that lobbyist must follow are followed.
