|Florida Model Legislature||
Role of the Legislative Branch Director
The Legislative Branch Director is one of the most vital positions at the conference. The Legislative Director helps to assign staff positions for the House and Senate and subsequently trains each of them on their position. Other pre-conference duties are the writing of bills, updating of the rules of procedure, and assisting the legislative staff with developing their platforms. At the conference, the Legislative Branch Director will assist the Legislative Staff with ensuring that all meetings, sessions, speeches, and ceremonies reflect the true nature of the Florida Legislature.
