Florida Workshops 2014

Model Legislature is proud to be planning Workshops in Florida for Fall 2014


Our Workshops are the best way to supplement your preparations for the Florida Model Legislature, which takes place Nov. 19-21, 2014 in Tallahassee.

Workshop Objectives
  1. Introduce students to Florida system of State and Local governments.
  2. Identify the three branches of Florida's State government, introduce Federalism and the U.S. government.
  3. Train students in the Bill Writing Process and Legislative rules of procedure.
  4. Conduct a Model Legislature, exhibiting the business of the Florida House, Senate and Executive Branch.
  5. Prepare students for the Florida Model Legislature, Florida's premier collegiate legislature held at the Florida Capitol.
