The committees at the 2012 Florida Model Legislature will be decided upon by the Speaker of the House and Senate President in collaboration with the Legislative Director. 

The 2012 Committees are:

1. Criminal Justice & Health and Family Services
2. Economic Development & Commerce
3. Agriculture, Environment, & Natural Resources
4. Education, Government, & Transportation Policy

Florida Model Legislature utilizes participants for the betterment of the program for all. Participants who feel they are capable of becoming a committee chairperson should let the House Speaker and Senate President know by filling out the Committee Chairperson Application. The application will notify the conference leadership of your desire to serve in a leadership role.
