Florida Legislative Committees
The Legislature has created a number of committees for the House and Senate to get bills through the process quickly and efficiently. Typically these committees correlate with each other to ensure that bills which have "related" bills in the other chamber. House of Representatives CommitteesThe Florida Legislature has created a number of committees and sub committees to work legislation through the system quickly and efficiently. The House Speaker is responsible for appointing committee members and chairs. To view a full list of house committees, click here.
| Senate CommitteesLike the House of Representatives, the senate utilizes a number of committees and sub committees to work legislation through the legislative process quickly.
